In any case, speaking as someone who makes high-end, but very niche maps, the Arcade always allows you to get players for your mod whenever you want to play it. And it WILL get a community going if you support your game properlly and it has alot of replay potential. The Arcade then offers a great system for your mod to played and experienced in.
The truth is, everytime a large SC2 mod is released the internet is all over it and it gets alot of attention. Dunno about Warcraft: Alliance and Horde.
Starbow has small tournaments and a steady community. Proof: įirst of all, Starcraft Universe isnt even released yet and got a ton of recognition when it was in open beta and was played like all the time. Sorry but this is just bullshit and I am a high profile mapmaker.
